TERMS OF SERVICE

AGREEMENT TO TERMS

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Wildcat Devs (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the Rmaps mobile app and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum age to form a binding contract where you live) to use the Service, and you must comply with all laws that apply to you.

THE SERVICE

Rmaps lets riders record rides and trip metrics, plan and navigate routes, join group rides, share live location with friends and crew, message within rides, and broadcast or respond to emergency SOS requests. Features depend on device permissions (location, camera, contacts, notifications), connectivity, and third‑party services, and may change over time.

SAFETY & EMERGENCY DISCLAIMER

Read this carefully.

• Rmaps is NOT a replacement for emergency services. The SOS and live‑location features are a convenience to help you reach people you know — they are not a professional emergency, rescue, dispatch, or monitoring service. In a real emergency, call your local emergency number (e.g., 911 / 112) first.
• No guarantee of delivery or response. We do not guarantee that an SOS, alert, message, or location update will be sent, received, accurate, timely, or that anyone will respond. Delivery depends on GPS, network, battery, device settings, and others' availability.
• Don't operate your device while riding. Do not interact with the app, read messages, or set up navigation while operating a vehicle. Pull over safely first. You are solely responsible for riding safely and obeying all traffic and helmet laws.
• Navigation is advisory. Routes, directions, ETAs, and maps may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsafe. Always use your own judgement and follow real‑world road conditions and signage.
• Use at your own risk. You assume all risks of riding and of relying on the Service.

ACCOUNTS

You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for safeguarding your credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use at team.wildcatdevs@gmail.com.

LOCATION SHARING & CONTACTS

• You control who sees your location and when, via in‑app settings. By sharing, you consent to your chosen recipients seeing your location and related data while sharing is active.
• Only share the location of, or add as an emergency contact, people who have agreed to it. You're responsible for having the right to add any contact information you provide.
• Don't use the Service to stalk, surveil, harass, or track anyone without their knowledge and consent.

USER CONTENT

You retain ownership of content you submit — photos, messages, notes, and ride data. By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to host, store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the Service (for example, delivering your messages and showing your shared location to people you choose). You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit and that it doesn't violate any law or third‑party right.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

• Break the law or use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Send false or abusive SOS and alerts, or otherwise misuse the safety features.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or invade the privacy of others.
• Upload malware, scrape, reverse‑engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that aren't yours.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

THIRD‑PARTY SERVICES

The Service uses third‑party services including Google Maps Platform for maps, directions, and place search, and Expo for app delivery and notifications. Your use of those features may be subject to the third parties' terms, and we're not responsible for third‑party services.

DISCLAIMERS

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, accuracy, and availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error‑free, or that location, navigation, or SOS features will function as intended.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Wildcat Devs AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including any reliance on its location, navigation, or SOS features, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wildcat Devs from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third‑party right.

TERMINATION

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or users. Sections that by their nature should survive — disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — survive termination.

CHANGES TO THE SERVICE OR TERMS

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. For material changes we'll provide reasonable notice in‑app or otherwise. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
